Here is the primavera painting with the canvas covered. The challenging part will be maintaining enough value contrast not to lose the image of the goddess of Spring.

Has it been almost a month since my last post????
March and over 125 days without rain, we finally did get 1/10 of a teasing inch yesterday. Just enough to smell.

This is a new painting but I am so excited to post it. David reminded me that I have had this idea for over ten years! Well, its about time. Do you recognize the face? It would be great to get some feedback about it.
